Colonel Reinaldo Costa de Almeida Rego, Ph.D. - Brazil
Colonel Reinaldo Costa de Almeida Rego, of the Brazilian Army, born in Santana do Livramento, Brazil. He holds a bachelor's degree in Military Sciences from the Military Academy of Agulhas Negras (AMAN) and a specialist in Physical Education from the School of Physical Education of the Army (EsEFEx). He holds a Master's degree in Military Operations from the School of Improvement of Officers (EsAO) and an MBA in Politics and Strategy from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Col Reinaldo is Ph.D. in Military Sciences from the School of Command and Staff of the Army (ECEME) and Ph.D. in Administration by the FGV. He has a Postdoctoral degree in National Defense from ECEME.
Its activities at the Inter-American Defense College include the development of the World Situation Conference, the Western Hemispheric Situation Conference and the Complex emergencies and Large Scale Disaster Seminar. He also supports the work in Committees I and II, Country Study course and Forecasting Methodology course, as well as in the Continental United States (CONUS) study trip.
Dr Reinaldo was instructor at the AMAN Artillery Course (1999-2001) and professor at ECEME (2009-2012), where he taught classes in Scientific Research Methodology. His areas of interest include: Strategic Planning, Military Doctrine, Knowledge Management and Organizational Modeling.
